Driver, Chris Humblet and the CHR team are members of Morris Racing Team. Morris Racing and Chris Humblet Racing have been teamed up for the last 4 years. 2015 should be a great season for Chris as he drives the teams redone Stock Car Products modified.
2015 was a very successful season for Chris and the CHR team. The team was fast at every track they went to. Many times qualifying in the top 5 and were able to finish in the top 5 multiple times as well.
In points CHR finished:
3rd at South Boston
4th at East Carolina
14th at Langley Speedway (a limited schedule)
Chris' first season:
@ Langley Speedway 10th in points missed rookie of the year by 5 points.
2nd season:
@ Langley Speedway 13th in points (on a limited schedule)
5th in points with Moonshine Capital Promotions Moonshine Modifieds (Raced @ Ace Speedway and Franklin County Speedway.)
16th in points at South Boston Speedway (also a limited schedule)
Qualified 3rd (1/10 from the pole) at the Thanksgiving Classic at Southern National Motorsports Park.
For the last 3 years, Chris has learned a lot about working on, building, and driving racecars. He has a great support team from his family and Tommy Morris, owner of Morris Racing. Jimmy Humblet, Chris' father and driver of the Morris Racing number 11 modified has been racing for more than 30 years. Winning both races and championships on asphalt and dirt.
